Our Classes
Our lessons have no more than 4 babies/children and parents/carers pairs per group ensuring that you and your child receive more personal attention from your teacher. The lessons are 30 minutes and have a carefully balanced set of activities including group and individual work, songs and toys, games, swimming, floating, jumping, safety skills. We will do everything we can, to support your child and help them relax and learn to love the water.
Baby lessons
Baby lessons are designed for your baby to experience the wonderful sensory world that the water can bring. Teach methods that promote the physical, personal, social and intellectual well being of babies.
We learn through sensory discovery play and songs while boosting water confidence and building trust. Focus on relaxation, floating, and gentle movements. Through your involvement in the pool, our lessons promote bonding with your little one and learning your child's needs. The lessons provide lots of eye contact and encourage freedom of movement and skin to skin contact.

Toddler/Preschool lessons
Older children's classes create a safe and happy learning environment, where they can explore, develop and learn. Lessons are delivered to nurture positive experiences with you in the pool that can bring them a lifelong love of the water.
The lessons are:
-
designed to ensure that your child has fun whilst learning (fun sensory toys, games, discovery play and songs)
-
adapted to suit your child’s age, individual experiences and developmental stage
-
develop confidence to give your child the freedom to swim independently, build confidence for those who are more nervous,
-
promote safety around water
-
teach life saving skills

“You will never have this day with your children again.
Tomorrow they’ll be a little older than they were today.
This day is a gift.
Just breathe, notice, study their faces and little feet.
Pay attention.
Relish the charms of the present.
Enjoy today-it will be over before you know it.”
